This mobile optimised course is a piece for Learning Pool’s Foundation Skills catalogue of off-the-shelf modules. I instructionally designed from the subject matter expert’s raw content and built using Learning Pool’s Adapt builder. Images and illustrations were specified by me and created by an internal graphic designer.

As well as clear presentation of information and regular interaction, I chose to use a mentor character as a learning approach. She begins the module knowing she needs to do something differently, but is sceptical about Agile.

As you work through the content she becomes more engaged, and you help her to persuade her colleagues and get them on board too. Using this approach helps to make the content feel more relatable by bringing a human element to it, and acknowledges that the learner or their colleagues may be new to this way of doing things or feeling uncomfortable with the change.
